This group was founded by two best friends, Madison Zabala and Emma Wedgewood, who had their first daughters only 4 months a part in 2023. Over brunch, they started dreaming up an idea of a social group that could bring moms just like them together in the Tallahassee and surrounding counties area. Emma and Madison felt there wasn't a local group in the area primarily dedicated to new moms, or moms in the baby phase. In June of 2024 they started Tallahassee Mothers of Babies & Toddlers (MOBS) Club. What started as a Coffee & Connections meetup, has since grown into weekly events for local mamas of babies and toddlers!

Hey y’all! I’m a Tally native, born & raised. I married my Publix sweetheart (I like to joke that we locked eyes over bagging groceries haha) in 2021. Together we have two beautiful little girls, ages 2 and 10 months. I work from home full time, but my true passion is design of all kinds. This group is my creative outlet for my love of graphic design and event planning! Meeting new mamas, and growing friendships with returning mamas each month has made my heart so happy!

Hi friends - I’m Emma! I am from Jacksonville, FL and moved to Tallahassee for college in 2020. I am a wife to my amazing husband Jon, and a mom to my two girls, Peyton and Olivia. Peyton will be 2 this September and Olivia is our baby in heaven we had this past May. I love the Lord and am strong in my faith! I run a personal blog in memory of Olivia called the Until Again Journal (@untilagainjournal), which documents my life after loss and a placenta abruption. For work, I am a wedding and family photographer, and absolutely love what I do! For fun, I currently love coloring (100% has to be a kids coloring book), bracelet making, and journaling. I am so excited for each of you that have made your way into this community of incredible moms, and hope I can personally be apart of your support system!

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there an age limit?
Ages 4 & under are encouraged, but there is no age limit! Older siblings/kiddos are always welcome.
Does it cost to join?
There is NO cost to be a member of Tally MOBS! All of our meetups are free! Ticketed events are priced to cover supplies only.
Events for working moms?
Once a month we host a weeknight event, after business hours, for our working mamas & their kiddos! All of our Moms Night Out events are after business hours, and we try to have at least one family/weekend event per month as well.
Do I have to live in Tallahassee to join?
You do not! Our mamas come from surrounding counties such as Wakulla, Jefferson, and Thomas counties in addition to Leon county. If Tallahassee is too far, and you are interested in starting your own chapter, let us know where you are HERE!
How do I join?
Just show up to a meetup! For all non-ticketed events, there is no sign up needed. All you have to do is get you and your kiddo out the door and show up to wherever we are meeting up!
